Day 2: The End & The Beginning

Sunday, July 31st 2011

First of all, the birthday greetings. Happy 31st birthday, Harry Potter! Happy 46th birthday, Joanne Kathleen Rowling! Lucky for me, I was going to watch Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 (or HP7DH2, for short) that day! So, after doing Sunday morning rituals, we're (my father, my last two brothers, and I) going to Setiabudi One Plaza in Kuningan. At there, my first brother had arrived before us and already queueing in front of the cinema. They would be open in several hours but people already making lines. Whoa looks like David Yates successfully casting the Accio spell, then :D

Realizing that it's useless for all of us lining for the ticket, my father decides to bring my little brothers to Kaizen (barbershop) in the lower floor. I followed them. Getting bored... I walked around the building. Then, when I got back there, all of them had gathered. After that, we took a lunch at Chatterbox! I ordered some steak with ratatouille (yes, it's actually a kind of food). It was delicious!

Pity for us, we got 15.15 for the Harry Potter. To kill some time, we decided to go to Hero Gatot Soebroto, buying toiletries and bla bla. Then, we went back to Setiabudi Building to catch the movie.

The Last Enemy is... Death

IT WAS SUPERBLY AWESOME, FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH SWT! I barely wiped my eye in some monumental scenes like the final duel of Potter & Voldemort, the Potter's in-between condition, and the Albus Severus's King Cross. I've been reading HP series since I was in elementary school, third grade I think. And although I'm not liking the movie as big as the novel, still.. It all ends now. No more Potter movies. No more Potter books. Feels like there is a mega hole in my heart... :")

Well, when there is an end, there is a beginning, as proverb said. After the last Harry Potter, we rushed back to home. For preparing ourselves for the first taraweh in this Ramadhan 1432. Then, after the Taraweh pray, my parents and I went to Martabak Kubang at Manggarai to get some supper.

In the end, I want to say... Welcome to you, Ramadhan! Hope all muslims around the world gain the blessings and forgiveness from Allah SWT this month. Amin!
